Blogger calls European students who protest 15 year old boy’s death “cry babies”
A blogger has responded to the recent protests by students across several European nations by labeling the protesters as “Cry babies.”
The protests originated from a reaction to the death of a 15 year old boy in Greece by local police officers. Students in several European countries have joined the protests, citing concerns over a growing police state, government corruption, and a general ‘despair’ over future prospects.
The blogger, Andrew Jaffe, writes the following:
It is sad to have watched Greece, one of the cradles of democratic philosophy, become a third-rate banana republic, populated by scores of politically-correct cry-babies, unable to maintain law and order, and unable to preserve the basic principles of civilized societies.
Gee, and I was under the assumption that protest was fundamental to democratic philosophy.
