I think this vido is hilarious… but mostly it is very sad. Schools around the country are becomming insanely test based and our chidren are losing. They are not geting the well rounded education that they need to become good people. Perhaps they will know more random facts like how tosolve for x, or ten thusand random defintions of words that they are never going to use in real life, but they will not learn the enjoyable lessons that school provides. With sports, music, and art being cut from schools so that students can spend more time an money providingfor te tests, students are losing the opportunity to excel in different areas and express themselves throgh different means. I am not completely opposed to studets being tested, but things are getting out of hand. I do not believe that student’s sle measur of ability can be shown through a simple bubble in test. People are not one dimensional and must be given the opportunity to thrive in whatever area they enjoy. If that isn’t math, then they shouldn’t be punished for that. I believe that tests should be given but soley as a method of gauging how students are doing in a particular area, not whether they can graduate…
