The Completely Clueless and Out Of Touch Award Goes To…
Steve Chapman, for asserting that things in America are not so bad. According to Chapman, Barack Obama:
makes a habit of claiming that “wages are shrinking,” working families have lost ground and the country desperately needs his “Rescue Plan for the Middle Class.”
Claiming? What country does this guy live in?
According to Chapman, things are actually going pretty well for middle class Americans. We’re out shopping and buying new vans. Things have never been better. Yea, some 50 year old guy lost a ‘$30-an-hour job’ on the ‘Chevy assembly line’ and ‘may never find anything comparable’, but so what?
Can someone please tell Chapman that we’re not buying the rhetoric anymore? The propaganda campaigns don’t work.
